Day 6

Today was a pretty basic relaxed day. Nothing new going on. Her levels still look good and so it’s just been taking her medicine and vitals and doing labs every 8 hours. She hung out with Maisie all day and chowed down on chipotle, once for lunch and again for dinner; girl loves a quesadilla (thanks Beth). She got to hang out with her Grandmom and Auntie Izzy today so I’m sure it was nice seeing some familiar faces. They brought her lots of goodies, one of which was a princess poster which she requested to be hung on the bathroom door. She also had a fun time looking through her goodie basket I brought her this morning containing an Elsa and Moana dress as well as Elsa’s accessories. Ev is also a huge fan of “crunch” cereal (cinnamon toast crunch) so I brought her a box of that. Tomorrow should be another routine day. Her arm is a little sore, but she was able to take a bath today, so that’s a win! We ended the night on FaceTime with Auntie Claudie which resulted in the reminder that Wicked for Good came out, so she fell asleep watching that in her Moana dress. Though now she’s requesting I replace her Elphaba dress that got ruined from Halloween. 😂
