Every Day Evie…

Today was a good day! Evie got moved out of the PICU onto the acute floor where she will stay for the remainder of her time at Children’s. We definitely liked the PICU floor a little better, but at least now she can receive visitors here. Her WBC have come down to as low as 3.25 today, which is great. Her BP is still elevated, but to be expected. Otherwise just routine labs every 8 hours now. Her organs and other levels look good. She also was able to ditch the IVs in her hands which we weren’t much of a fan of. She was able to visit with Wilson, Addie and Maisie for a little before she went to bed and it was sweet to see her show and share all of her toys she’s collected thus far with them. Wilson has missed her VERY much. Tomorrow she will receive a dose of Calpargase which she only receives once on day 4 and then on Friday it’s still looking like she will receive her PICC line.
